The Northwest Alberta FASD Leadership Team

The Northwest Alberta FASD Service Network is governed by a Leadership Team, consisting of representatives from a variety of  organizations. The Leadership team oversees and guides the FASD initiative on a network level, and ensures that services and activities funded by the network are aligned with provincial standards. 

 

Membership of the Leadership Team include representatives from the following organizations, service areas or populations:

Voting Members

Alberta Health Services
Child and Family Service Authority
Alberta Education
Alberta Justice and Attorney General
Solicitor General and Public Security

Ex-Officio, Non-Voting Members:

The City of Grande Prairie
The Network Coordinator

 

Administrative Lead Agency

The Network Leadership Team entered into an agreement with the City of Grande Prairie to provide administrative services on behalf of the Leadership Team from October 2010 to March 31, 2011.

These services include the following general duties:

  • Develop written contracts with funded Service Providers
  • Administer written contracts with funded Service Providers under the direction of the Network Leadership Team.
  • Fill the role and responsibilities of the Network Banker/ fiscal agent.
  • Employ and provide direct supervision of the Network Coordinator
